The smith is great the trigger is awesome. The way that CTC grip looked brought some of the shine down & as I mentioned before this is my not so practical "Tacticool" my 1911 has it too gun so I returned the grip(way too dull comparing to the E series factory grip) and got the G10 grip by CTC instead and took the black mag-well I have on there returned to its old home(my DE1911G) and purchased a SS Mag-well with a Chain link mainspring housingimageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1392253620.686978.jpg

I paid my Ruger off today. I want a Smith pretty bad but I've been talking about building a AR too. I think that is most likely what I will do next.

Well, the Ruger. The shop that I ordered it at can't find it in stock anywhere. Yesterday I just told him to order a FNP45 instead. Here Monday I hope??

I want the Bobtail so bad, I haven't even seen one in person, I'd almost trade my Les Baer for one.

Metro Arms has a nice looking Bobcut out. Problem is I don't know jack squat about them. Feels great and operates smoothly. Shooting may be a whole different story however.

Metro Arms is a small company with some very skilled Machinists. They are imported by Eagle Imports. We interviewed their GM and looked at the guns at SHOT for the Site here. Waiting on one of those Bobcut 1911's in 9MM for evaluation myself...
