I shoot cast out of mine all the time and it's right out of the box. It's not Philippine but still despised by many.

This gun shoots cast bullets without special mods. What I mean about setting up this 1911 for cast bullets is that this gun is sighted in specifically for my cast bullet load. This is the only 1911 that I shoot cast bullets in. My other .45 ACP 1911s are carry guns that are sighted for bFederal Hydra Shok 230-grain hollowpoints. My handloads for those guns use plated bullets and are loaded to duplicate Hydra Shok velocity.
