It's the same as any trigger. 30 minutes or so and it is done. The one on the Ruger was almost a drop in. I have a couple of more on other guns.

Been seeing some postings on other forums about their Front sights on their SR1911's have been falling off after firing the gun a few times.? Should this not be covered under the gun's Warranty.? If they just send back the top slide instead of the whole Gun back to Ruger for repair.?

The problem according to Ruger is the sights are brittle from wrong temps in the manufacturing process. They are honoring the warranty and fixing them should the problem arise.

Ruger has great customer service, if it breaks the will pay for the shipping, usually they send a call tag and fix for free.
