Bought mine the day after Christmas. It immediately went to the top of my favorite list. Love taking it to the range, and it is my bedside gun. It has never disappointed me.

A go to at least one store or a gun show every weekend. I have yet to see one and hold it. I might get so excited when I do, I'll buy it at any price.

I've never drank the Kool-aide, but the more I see and read about the SR1911, the more I consider buying one when things ease up some.

I'm enjoying mine, great shooter out of the box.

I think I'll pick up the commander next.

It was my first Ruger and my first 1911. I love it and it has been flawless. Of course I haven't shot it a lot because there's no ammo.

I don't know if it will be a Ruger, but I will be looking to get a Commander as well.
