i'd jump on it like a duck on a june bug! most of us have only seen pictures of them so far, due to availability. and from everything i have seen here from those fortunate to have one, they are very pleased with them. the SR1911 is definately on my list to buy and when they become more available in my area, i will for sure be buying one. with a MSRP of $799, the price of $699 seems fair and reasonable. now i have no first hand experiance with the SR1911, i do with Ruger firearms in general and own several, so i would feel confident in buying one myself, as Ruger has an excellent reputation.

I looked at one at the gunshow today. Fine weapon, your price is certainly better than the one at the show, if the Ruger is the one you want than the price is certainly right.

I've only shot 4 mags through her.. I need some more range time. It's a very smooth trigger pull and the recoil is very manageable.

What grips do you have on your Ruger? I've been looking for some grips and haven't decided yet.

Correct. VZ grips are well worth it. I've tried $20-$100 grips and these are $65 and knock it out of the park.
