Default Ruger SR1911

Had mine for a few months now. Put a few hundred rounds through it. It chews up and spits out whatever brand of 45acp you put into it. Only upgrade I did to it was put a Hogue rubber finger grooved grip on it. Would highly recommend anyone to get this pistol.

rfwolcott,
I don't have a SR1911 but if I did I think that this in depth review by Joe from chamberscustom.com would be very helpful to get acquainted with the SR1911, interesting that the SR1911 comes stock with a Titanium firing pin.

I have been wanting to see one of these Ruger 1911s. I got a Flyer today from Cal-Ranch Supply down in Ogden, Utah. They have them in stock for
$699 I am going to drive down to Utah to see one of these pistols.

I go to the Bill Goodman show every month, frequent several local gun shops and have never seen one. I'm beginning to think they are myth.
