I bought the first one that arrived at our local dealer last year and the SR1911 is a fine handgun. I do like Ruger guns and this one is meeting all of my expectations.

Local shop has not seen Ruger SR1911 for sometime, even an older used Ruger .45 ACP. I might be settling for RIA 1911A1 2-Tone model.
