Yup, and I've heard it has a loaded chamber indicator and a mag disconnect - I truly hope not as it would have JMB rolling over in his grave. Given Ruger's affectation for lawyerly stuff - it probably will have. It'll also be recalled within the first 6 months...

I hope the rumors NGIB mentioned aren't true, it would truly be a sacrilege to eff with the 1911 design in such a way.

Revealed today and free of both those features, NGIB. It's a pure Series 70 firing system. Posted a new thread with official launch info.

Original 1911 was flat. Very common mod is to replace the arched one with a flat one. More people seem to prefer flat to arched.
