the RIA 1911's have a solid reputation for being well made and well performing. they get excellent reviews from people who own and shoot them and there ar quite a few members here on this forum that own them, hoot them and give them high regards a quality pistol.

my advice, is to buy one with confidence.

Had one briefly, before a friend made me an offer I couldn't pass up, for it. It was a good shooter. Never had any problems with it, but never abused it either.
