Armscor is good gun for people who wants to buy their first 1911. The price is so reasonable. And the quality is good. And I bought it, it's not because it was made in my country it is simply beacause i loved it. compare to my uncle's springfield 1911. i like it better.

To all Rock Island owners. Does the 1911 have a guide rod? I can't seem to find a picture with the slide back. That's the last thing I need to know before I swipe my credit card. I particularly like that bottom guide rod under the barrel when the slide is back. No particular reason other than it looks cool to me. Thanks.

I had one I played with for a bit. Not a bad pistol. Felt like a 1911 for sure. I've heard if you polish the internals its an awesome pistol for the price. If I was going to get a Rock Island however I'd look into something a little cheaper. I mean 450.00 isn't bad for a new one but you could probably easily find a better deal than that used.
