Default RIA Tactical .45 ACP

This was my first handgun, an RIA Tactical .45 ACP.

I got her just before summer this year. She's definitely a shooter, and fits nice and comfortably in my hands. The only modification I'm gonna make are the grips. I like the smooth wood grips, but they tend to get a bit slippery when shooting in the warmer months without gloves. I'll probably go with a pair of green micarta custom etched grips from VZ Grips.

One of my friends bought one. His developed the problem of the slide stop prematurely wearing at the barrel lugs.

But his serial number is less than 50 and it could be one of the "still getting the kinks out".

Be watchful on parts.

I know several folks that I shoot with have that gun, and they're real impressed with it. Those micarta grips are nice. I hope it continues to serve you well.
