The sub 4 inch guns eat springs quickly. I start looking at function problems at 500 rounds or so - like throwing brass into the next county or failing to return to battery...

Ok, guys next question, what type of ammo do you carry in your compact 1911's.

I have heard that the Officer's model is more picky when it comes to feeding it ammo then the fullsize big brothers?
