I have the Girsan MC1911S with the rail...I've never owned a 1911 but after much reading of reviews and features between different low price 1911's this one wins for those categories. I have only shot 5 clips through it but have had no problems. It is very accurate as I mentioned in another thread. It out performed my buddy's alloy Kimber and he was doing the shooting. I have been shooting from 25YDS and getting groups of 3-4" and I'm a newbie to large cal autos. The finish on these guns is also very appealing compared to the dull gray of some other popular lower end 1911's.

I have had great luck qith my Citadel. It will eat everything from a 230 ball to a 165 hollow point. I only had one fail to feed and that was like round number 10 and it was a partial feed. moved slide a little, slid went to battery and have not slowed down since. I have around 500 rounds through it now but I just sent it off and got it back from MAC's in Arizona for a Tuffcoat job and new grips. It came in yesterday evening so I have not shot it yet. Supposed to be 70 degrees and sunshine this weekend and I have about 300 rounds burning a hole in my pocket. Yall let me know what you think about the coating job. It was $100.00.
