Replacement recoil spring weight

Just wondering what the proper weight for a replacement recoil spring. I shoot reloads for bullseye competion 4.2 grains of titegroup over 185swc. Any help would be great.

I would buy a couple of different weight springs and fine tune my own. Wolff makes a recalibration pac.

Been a while but I would normally run an 11 to 14 pound spring with my bullseye guns. They used a similar 185 grain SWC but with 3.9grs of Alliant Bullseye powder. As recommended above, buy a set of various weights and test them out to find what best works with your load/gun and to some extent how you grip the piece while firing. Good luck.

16# spring is the factory specs for most, if your shooting hotter rounds you may want to up it to 18#
