Default Remington 1911

Got a 46 percent discount on a one time purchase on all things Remington(took an armorer's course).. Went to the local gun store and fondled a few of these beauties and they seem like they have a nice tight action. Just wondering if anyone of you fellas or ladies own or have shot one. Whatcha think, what would you get instead of the Remington if you didn't like it.

My lovely bride gave me a Ruger SR1911 for XMAS. I can't believe how awesome this platform is. 46% off any Remington firearm is a sweet deal. I have heard good things about their 1911 offering. If that's what you want, you will not be disappointed.

Me and ZG own the R1. It shoots great right out of the box and the trigger is very light to me. We've shot a couple hundred rounds and no problems.

Love the olive drab one! Yeah, you really can't go wrong with a huge discount like that especially on a brand like Remington.

KM, i also own the R1. mine is the Enhanced version. very well made pistol and very accurate. would not hesitate in buying another, nor any regrets in buying it.

do yourself a favor and check them out! i promise you won't be disappointed.

Personally, I'd go with the Enhanced. 46% discount is pretty good.

I'd be all over the Enhanced like white on rice!

I bought the R1 recently and I've had ZERO issues with it. I say go for it, you won't regret it.

I would have a hard time deciding between the 1911 and the VersaMax shotgun.
