regent 1911
So I was a at the gun shop the other day and seen a regent there, never heard of it, but fit seems nice, so does the finish. Price was 479.00, so what say you? Also they had a new remmington r1 for 669.00 so which would be the best bang for the buck? thanks.

Personally, I'd go for the Remington. More money, but it's a Remington 1911. I'm not sure, but I think the Regent is a Phillipines manufactured pistol.

I just checked, the Regent is being manufactured by a Turkish company for and imported by Umarex. Umarex is an airgun company.
Here's a link to where I found the info: Umarex USA Regent R100 .45 ACP 1911 | The Firearm Blog
