FWIW, the Smith M&P9c weighs 21.7 ounces while a Springfield Operator weighs (full size) weighs 42 ounces, but even the aluminum framed lightweight weighs 31 ounces.
I'll have to weigh my CD 1911 but I'm sure it's close to 42 ounces but when I say cheap belt it was under 20 bucks and it's an 1 1/4 wide and a 1/4 inch thick it just didn't cost me a small fortune to secure the holster.
