With your budget theres no reason not to get a Colt.. I finally picked up a Combat Commander as my 3rd 1911, it's great for carry without loosing to much accuracy. Thanks for your service BTW!

I have the Scorpion model Sig 1911. Terrific handgun. Great accuracy, the appearance is really good and it's a Sig so quality won't ever be a issue. Jump on it, you won't regret it.

Thank you for that. I'm gonna get the Colt. A buddy told me the same thing. Go with the Colt.

Can't go wrong with a Colt, I really want a Commander XSE or the Wiley Clapp Commander

Picked up a Colt Commander XSE but my schedule hasn't allowed me to take it to the range yet.

Finally got the Colt Commander xse to the range today. Like it a lot. Kimber still a bit more accurate but it's had 600+ rds through it versus 80 or so through the Colt. I'll post a pic of the target tomorrow.
