my grandfather asked me to find out how much his colt 1991 is worth it has never been fired it is the O1091 model i think. this is just the first place i thought to come. thanks in advance for any information.

Well, you really won't get one answer as to a price.

A collector would more than likely pay double that of what a dealer would pay. Also, an appraisel could be more than both. Plus, you also have to factor in personal value...

Is he looking to sell it, or does he just want to know it's overall value?

That may be what the blue book says but try and buy a Colt for that amount. I will by them at that price all day long and make good money.
