pow/mia limited edition 5in ss
Is this a gun that should be shot ? I would just take it to the range on sunny days. I dont have any Limited Edition. My son just came home from iraq. I would end up giving it to him OR Should i not shot it at all ? I get tears in my eyes when i look at this gun. Martyd

Nice pistol and a tough choice.

As a Desert Shield/Storm Vet I would have loved a coming home gift like that!
Who better to appreciate a POW/MIA edition .45 than a vet?
If you decide to keep it, go out shoot it, enjoy it. You can still keep her new and tip top while enjoy firing her with some basic TLC after each session.

Show the gun the respect it deserves, shoot it!

I just came back from the gun store. I was shocked that i like the sig. SS 4.2 barrel over the 5 in sig. I wanted 5 in. for tarage but when i was holding the 5 in. it seemed i was dropping the nose of the gun. The 4.2 was just as heavy [3 oz. lighter ] but was real good feeling in my hand -I was able to point and hold -without any movement. That sig. is SWEET. Better then the Kimber !
SO ---i gave him a dep. on the 4.2 n told him to hold the pow/mia sig. for one week. Im going to try two buy both guns. I will give the pow/mia to my son. Now i got to go to the other gun store and get back the money that he had the kimber n the new Ruger 1911 on his wish list.....
I read on this site how good that sig. gun is but its better then good.
