Correct! The reason I worded it that way is because the para is a variation of the A1.......and, even the A1s were pretty loose fitting..........so THERE! : )

If I wanted a Colt, the title of the thread would have had Colt in it, but obviously I don't so next time you interject try to stay on the subject, k?

No problem, and tactical is correct the original was not an "A1", but the point is the same really....the loose fitting is often intentional. However, I hope your choice of guns works out for you well and I understand your desire to have something different. I have handled a few Paras and I did like them, and I know quite a few people who are happy with them.........happy paper hunting!

I have a para and when I compare it to my Ed Brown or CZ-USA 1911, the para always loses out.
The series-80 setup on the para is the same setup as Colt.
The triggers on the para is not as smooth.
The slide does not rack as smooth.
Again, this is my para which does not have the bells and whistles of the Black Ops.

This is one of the reasons for the thread. You can find a bunch of complaints anywhere but info like I'm getting now is what I preferred. To be honest the Colt Railgun has caught my eye too but I asked about the Black Ops because you hear much less about it.

There is a reason you don't hear much. They are crap compared to other manufacturers. Lousy CS.

Why? You read in on the internet so it must be true
