Does anyone have, or have fired the Para Black OPS? I saw these in a video review of Shot Show. How is Paras quality, accuracy, dependability?
It seems to have all the features I want. Rail, night sights, beavertail, ambi safety, g10 grips, and all black, including the barrel being coated.
It can be found for around a thousand. I have been looking at getting the Colt Rail Gun. It doesnt have nightsights or g10 grips and it isnt all black. Stainless is the only one around $1000, the black one is $1200, plus the barrel isnt blackened. There is a Rail Gun at my LGS, it is stainless and they want $1170. Since pretty much every Colt is six months backordered they jack the prices up.
So, would you say the Black OPS is worth the money? Is seems like you get lots of features for the money, a good value gun, if you can call a thousand dollar gun a value gun. __________________ كافر-INFIDEL

There has been a widely reported issue with the colt rail guns having the front sight milled too close to the end which seems to limit choices in swapping for night sights although the custom shop might have something.
I was looking into that gun and have gotten 50/50 reviews but personally never shot one.
I recently acquired an older series 70 so I stopped looking.
Oh yea, what's a para? |

I know its not a Colt, I want a Colt, but Im not gonna wait six months or overpay by a lot. So, are PARA- Ordnance 1911s of a decent quality? Or should they be lumped into the do not touch bin?
I can find one of these for under $950, msrp is $1300. __________________ كافر-INFIDEL
