This is the real deal in a Colt it's a 1916 WWI bought in 1965 for $41US had no idea it was a WWI Colt at that time, it was so bad looking. Had it reblued. Until around 1978 had no idea what it really was, learned at a firearms show from a Colt expert. it is one of 69,000 bought by US Army for their use. It's S/N is within 100 of the S/N of Sgt. Yorks Colt 45 if his wife written words are correct.

Now \for my two new Colts I just traded my Kimbers in on them. So far I am very happy to have them./
