DefaultOpinions on the Para Ordnance

Just received a PA PX745E SSP in 45 ACP. Any others out there have one?

That is too bad. Mine supposedly has less than 20 rounds through it. It appears to be as new. I was told they were very accurate and reliable.

I've fired over 2000 rounds through my P14 with no issues. It's more accurate than me.

It's not a top of the line 1911, but I like it and I love the extra capacity. The only mods I made were mostly aesthetic (I switched the plastic parts for metal ones).

I also have a p14. Mine has been good to me.
Many others have had their issues with Para's quality control. After reading numerous threads on Para, I've come to the conclusion that if you've got a good one, it's just that. Many others have not had my good fortune. I also have concluded, that if you do enough reading, you can find haters of almost any gun.

I'll report back when weather breaks and I get a chance to take it out. May be a few weeks as I have some trainings to do and have to load some shells.

Thanks to all that have expressed their opinions.
