Ok, I finally did it
I finally picked up a 1911. I have been wanting one for quite some time. Well I have had a Kimber 1911 22LR for almost 8 years, but not a true 1911 45ACP
I wasn't sure what one to get, but settled on a Kimber. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, will be this coming weekend.
Here is a couple of quick iPhone pictures.
Placed it over a Brownells 1911 catalog

I echo JD.
I think you will find that the phrase, "I only have one 1911", is short lived.
Not to worry though, it’s a socially acceptable obsession. 
This addiction only works if you actually shoot the 1911. Is it dirty yet??

LOL...I have all ready been drooling over other ones and I havent even had a chance to shoot this one yet
I am going this Saturday to run a bunch of rounds thru it

god thats true.. i only have one for now and just picked up a buck mark to take alittle pressure off the wallet but the next one will be a 1911 again. so beautiful all of them

BTW, did you know that if you post that you bought a new 1911 your REQUIRED to post a range report!
