They are excellent pistols by any measure. Whether it's worth it to you, that's a decision only you can make. Much in they way a Ferrari is "worth it" if you have the kind of scratch to buy one.

Haha yea man it's on the bucket list I think there is more chance of me becoming a pistolsmith and building my own 1911 than being able to afford one of them!

To me they are just a bunch of nice Ex Wilson Combat guys off making their brand of 1911. I still stand by that Colt makes the only real 1911 and their Colts are quality. Not implying others are not just IMHO not worth the asking prices.
