Yes that is good deal. New they are around $1,100-$1,200. Looks to be great shape so don't think it has been shot much. Enjoy the gun and shoot the snot out of it.

Even if it's been a problem for the previous owner Springfield will stand behind their product. $700 for that particular pistol is a good buy, even if you can't hit the broad side of a barn with it you can still use it as trade bait if need be. Those SR1911 are going for $700 plus in some stores around here if that tells you anything.
