Default New STI Edge

Just picked it up. It's chambered in 9mm, has a Bull Barrel, Aluminum Magwell and Dawson Fiber Optic front sight.

It's a fine piece of Texas Steel...

May I ask why 9mm? Don't you want to stay with major factor? Or is this not for competition?

You are going to be very happy. I have the identical pistol and of all my STIs it's my favorite. Scary accurate and so smooth! Shooting 9mm out of the heavy Edge feels like shooting not much more than a .22. The low felt recoil makes reacquisition for follow up shots very easy. I've had mine for about 3 years and it's been a dream.

I chose 9mm for the low recoil. This pistol is IPSC and USPSA approved.

I see lots of 9mm's in Production Division matches. Although with my poor eye sight, I doubt I will be entering any competitions matches any time soon.

It will be more of a range gun for me.
