Nice little family you got there I don't think you can go wrong with a Sig, according to my brother n law who's retired Army small arms specialist, he always had S&W, SA, Kimbers and Beretta's but had very few Sig's come through the shop and the one's that did it was operator error most of the time.

I used my first and only 1911, a Springfield Armory 1911 as a trade-in on a Sig P-220. I love the Sig, all Sigs, but something kept drawing me back to the 1911. So on impulse, I bought an all steel Colt Commander 1911, new, with sights I could actually use. But it wasn't a full size 1911, what to do? Again, on impulse a month later, I bought a full size stainless steel Sig 1911 Carry, beautiful gun with night sights. When I got the Colt in my hand, and later when I got the Sig 1911 in my hand, I literally could not let go before I made them mine. And this from a Glock/Sig man. There's just something special about a well made 1911. I expect to buy at least one more, or maybe two.

Glock, I used to be a Glock guy getting into flame wars and having fun with 1911 guy. I have owned the G-17,19,26,27,32, and 36 (twice!) All of em gone. 1911 carried locked and loaded, nothing like it. IDK if I can carry another but 1911

I bought my first 1911 a SIG Scorpion carry, I have to admit the railed really bothered me and I couldn't carry it like I wanted too. I then bought my SIG Nitron commander that I could carry. Then this past week or so I bought my Ultra compact. The Scorpion and the Nitron have been so flawless when I went to buy my Ultra, I knew it was gonna be SIG again.

My next 1911 will probably be a Sig, Commander sized, with night sites and no rail, Nitron finish. Sounds like you may have bought my dream gun. My Sig 1911 has a brushed stainless finish. I really prefer black in a carry gun. My Colt Commander is black, but I'd like to have night sights. I put Hogue finger-groove grips on my Colt, but not on my Sig. The Sig just feels too good the way it is.

My first handgun was a Glock 22 (.40 S&W). I used to get into good-natured arguments with a Sig guy. We were at a range and the Sig guy's son rented several .45s, including a 1911. We traded guns back and forth at the range and when I shot the "rented" 1911 for the first time, it was fantastically smooth and accurate. I knew I had to have one. So I bought a used Springfield Armory 1911A1 that I had and shot for several years. I finally traded it in for more than I paid for it on a Sig P-220. Love the Sig, miss the 1911.

So I guess I'm a Glock/Sig/1911 guy. Maybe a little bit of a CZ guy too.
