What are your opinions on the new Sig scorpion in the 1911 45. Acp??

One word, simply F'n awesome!! I put Burl wood on her for a while but I am back to the original G10 Pirhanna grips right now. This gun has performed flawlessly and is the coolest 1911 out as of today. If you're thinking of getting one, don't hesitate. SIG is producing some real high quality 1911s right now.

I think its a sweet pistol and for those that wish to add a flashlight or laser, there you go.

From the folks I have talked to the scorpion is a hell of a gun. I just bought a sig stx as my first 1911 for only 925 otd so I jumped on it. I found a scorpion recently for 890 otd and almost bought that too but have to wait a but till I have the funds. I really want the carry scorpion though.Overall like others have said Sig is making some excellent 1911's for the money right now.

I got a sig tact ops, looks just like the black water, and I love it. The ferl is great and is extremely accurate. The recoil is very low. I have a glock 40 and it kicks more then my sig. This to me is the perfect gun. I paid 920 otd and it came tb.
