I just bought my first kimber it is a Pro TLE II and I must say I love the way it looks and feels. I have a new Wilson combat ETM 8 round magazine in it. Here is a couple of pics.

Love my three Kimbers and not one of them has had a single failure in all the time I've had them and that includes my SOLO. :)

I own 2 Kimbers and absolutely love them! Today I added the Clark .460 Rowland conversion kit to the Kimber Tactical Entry II (top photo). The bottom photo shows the Tactical Entry pre-conversion (top left) above a Kimber Classic Royal along with a Dan Wesson pre-CZ Pointman (top right) and S&W 1911PD. Not shown are my Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm and GSG .22LR.

Did you change grips on The Smith My 1911 PD has tan C/ T Lasergrips ?? By The way they are all beautiful

I bought the Smith used and these are the grips that came with it. Not sure if they are factory original, though until you raised the issue I had thought they were (though I've not investigated it).
