New Colt Gold Cup Range Report
Well, brought the new pony to the range after work, and here is how this AMAZING firearm shoots....14 rounds per target.
Decided to move it out to 15 yards here. MAN that isnt much but it sure seems it...
And I took the wife.
Had one FTE out of 50 rounds, guess thats the break in period. Lets hope....let me know what you think!

Nice shooting! I'm sure those groups will get much tighter as you get more used to her.

Soooo... What kind of groups do you shoot with an out of the box stock GI?

That's some nice shooting! Nothing wrong with that at all.
I am a little worried about that cold bore being so far off center, but as it was your first shot with the weapon, I think we will see a much different result the next time around. 
Damn, the wife is a shooter!!  Don't piss her off brother, just a friendly word of advice.

Nice shooting!
Im assuming it is supposed to be Colt's most accurate 1911. But, is there anything special about it versus Colt's Rail Gun other than the adjustable sights that makes it more accurate?

I really couldnt tell you. Im new not only to the 1911s but to 45s. This was straight out of the box, no adjustment to the sights at all. Best gun I have ever shot, amazing.
