Default Mustang

Why not try the original Colt ? I understand they are making it again.

The Colt is what I'm trying to hold out for, but my wife bought a P238 & it's a nice little pistol. I'll give it until about Christmas for the Colt. The gun store, I buy from, said his distributor guessed December.

Back to the OP's question about the P928, 9mm in that small of a package will be a handful. Maybe not as bad as the Keltec PF9, because I think it's a little heavier, but still a perky little rascal, I bet.

Default Sig

I watched a Sig rep go through all the varieties of 238s and how they were having trouble keeping up with demand. Sig Team Cpt gave a shooting tip and they advised if you were going to shoot it a lot, go for the all steel model. Kinda common sense advice.

Okay, range report is not good! Using WWB my Sig has a 21% FTE after the first magazine if six rounds. This began on round number 8, but since that was right out of the box I am going to give it another try. I did a complete cleaning and inspected the ejector all appears fine so maybe it was just loaded grease from the factory.

Once the magazine was removed and slide allowed to move forward the empty casing was ejected without issues when manually racked. I inspected the 13 casings and none had any visual defects that I could tell.

More to follow on the next trip to the range...
