I am merely pointing out the fact that, as a Supporting Member, you COULD have done some reading.

Just sayin'

Reading? Me? If I started reading then people would expect me to know what I am talking about. What fun is that?

But seriously (if I HAVE to), I knew that installing that heavy spring would be a challenge, but not the amount I experienced. Time after time, I shot it across the room; and yes, I did tear off a large part of my finger nail (dumb, I know).

Supporting member just means I donated money because I like and want to support this site - it doesn't mean that I am smart.

I trust you understand I was only kidding about not liking you guys who have your 460's up and running (somewhat)!?!

They are NOT for the weak of heart ( or hand ).

Looking forward to your shooting impressions. I thought the thing was a MONSTER and if I reloaded for pistol ammo would still have mine.

If nothing else, we have served up the next generation of .460 Owners.

The 20# and the 24# ESPECIALLY, are a pain in the ass to install. Having done it a few times, I can tell you, it was still a pain in the ass before I sold it.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Nah. I didn't reload at the time, ammo was expensive and the whole build off kind of hit a long, dragged out part because of finishing ( Blame Colt ), so I sold off the kit to another member.

I still have a concept for a big, fire breathing magnum 1911, but it's still in the concept phase. Perhaps later this year or next.
