Yea but when they find out its too late.

No complaints, but that may be due to them being scared speechless.

LOL! SCARED, or disappointed.

By the way, from a couple of PMs from some of other member's: As a former GM Engineer, is it true that, in your late 50's, you designed the original Corvair? Just asking. (Yeah, I just had to make this up, but.......)

Oh Lardee! As long as those on this site can joke, kid, poke fun, and accept being needled - I want to stay. You go Cane, NGIB, Dillinger, and others. It so reminds me of growing up in Texas with other kids, being welcomed in our local gun shop/convenience store/gas station/post office (hey, it was a SMALL town). The old guys would stay for hours drinking coffee (or something), us kids with cherry Cokes, but everyone handling our and others guns, telling stories (read lies) and jokes. God, how I miss those times!

Yeah it is $3K+, the number I was giving was for my build. Hopefully the build will only cost just under $2K since I'll be doing all the hand work myself. I plan on starting with a Wilson Combat fitted slide and frame assembly which runs about $800.

Why is there no factory .460 Rowland 1911?

If Springfield, Kimber, or especially COLT came out with a factory 1911 chambered in 460 Rowland I would jump as the chance to own one!

Actually, there is; from Wilson. It's their Hunter model, running about $3400. Granted, if Colt, S&W or others featured one at a realistic price, I would be all over it.
