I like the Springfield Range Officer, black, affordable, and a damn fine shooter!I'm also waiting on a 6" black Fusion Hunter in 10mm that those grips would look sweet on.

I'd snag that if it was't a bobtail. Got more than enough of those.

After I shared my idea of keeping the grips for myself with SWMBO, I was prompty convinced to sell them.

Well, I'm back at the drawing board again on my 1911 kick. I just bumped my budget up to $2000 and I'm still having a hard time deciding.

I contacted Fusion about doing a custom build to my exact specs on a 10mm and just got the quote back tonight. $2050. I really like the ability to take the things I like from multiple different guns and combine them in one package. I just don't know if I want to take a gamble on Fusion. But a 10mm target pistol is difficult to find. Especially when you start adding the little things that I want. Need some help.

I'll be looking forward to your review here as well as some photos then. Maybe that will help give me the push I need.

Okay, here is the push that you need. Get your hands on an original Government Issued 1911A1. You cannot go wrong with one of those..... if you can afford it.
