You are right. Nothing is worse than that wait, but I'm not aware of any quality gunsmith in my area. Plus if I have things that need to be corrected that are flawed thru manufacture I'd rather have the company correct on their dime.

Which you have a very valid point and I would too but the gunsmith I use always winds up do custom work to my guns anyway so I found it faster just to have him work on it where do you live anyway I might be able to help

Never mind I forgot you live in New Jersey I haven't even found a Gunshop in the places I've been around the state

Gunshops we have but I can't speak for their smiths that work there. Anything simple I'd do on my own. I have never had any need of serious work on any of my firearms that warranted a smith or having to shop out a firearm for repair, at least not yet.
