Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

He is pretty much our resident 1911 expert. I feel he's probably more knowledgeable than many of the magazine writers, and if he isn't, then he sure knows how to feed us a line (I sincerely believe that is not the case though).

I have been plinking with the Tula .45. It takes about twice as long to clean the pistol afterwords, but for the price difference I can live with that.

Yeah, the WWB at Walmart is a good deal, or the Federal they handle. I've read about sightings of them beginning to stock a 100 rd. pack of Federal in 9mm & .45ACP that will make it even better, but haven't seen them here.

DREMELLLL!!!! HOO-RAHHHH!!! On a semi, I think I would leave any alterations (except for drop in parts) to a professional. That being said, I need to give y'all some pics on the trigger radius and smoothing I did a few days ago on my S&W.

I agree with and understand all that you said, but can you expand on the reason why not to let the slide go without a round in the chamber? Honestly don't recall ever hearing that one before.
