Default Need your opinion.

Ok I just recently got into mountain biking and I'm up in the mountains so I wanted to figure out a way to carry my 1911 (or glock still deciding but right now it's my 1911) thought about on my hip with my black hawk, but if I wreck that's gunna hurt and don't feel like effin up my gun. Secondly was iwb, but again same issue. Thought about having it in my bladder bag but also same issue, if I go down its gunna hurt. So I mounted this case in the frame. It holds 4 mags and I can access it with one hand for quick access. Any opinions??? Be nice. Lol

One more thing, carry cocked lock and ready to rock? Or just have to put happier back? Or none in the chamber?

Condition one at all times. The 1911 was made for the horseman of there time. Don't think they got thrown once in awhile?

I am in the kitsap county area of washing state so we have to deal with bears every once and a while. 45 acp is the biggest caliber I have. So I went to the mountains for the day carried my glock 30 on my hip with a leash. And surprisingly did not have any problems. Did it as a test run before taking out my Kimber. Actually found a little case made for bikes that will fit my 1911 and can get it out in a hurry so I will prob be going that route. And thanks I just bought the bike the other day and love it! My ass needs to get in shape lol

Good idea, however, the black bag stands out so much that if I was a criminal I would go immediately for the bag thinking there's something valuable in it.
