Default Need some new sights.

I'm putting some new sights on my(JD's old) Kimber custom target 2. Currently it's wearing bomar adjustable night sights, they are getting dim.

I'm Wanting to stick with night sights, but which ones? Adjustables are not neccessary.

What about some Novak's? Is it the same dovetail cut?

How about seeing if Trijicon will replace the diodes in your BoMars?

Goju, I think I sent you the original non-night sights as well. Perhaps you can work out a trade for both sets you have for one set that you want, if Rock's idea doesn't pan out.

That was one of the last things I had to do on that pistol before the .460 conversion. Get rid of that big oil rig platform rear sight. Turned out with the conversion, I actually needed to adjust them. (Damn it )

I have Novak's on a couple of my 1911's and I do love them, but I am a three dot preferred when it comes to night sights.

I prefer the three dot night sights as well. I'll probably go that route.

Since you have Bomars, Harrison Custom makes a fixed rear night sight that fit on slides that have been machined for Bomar adjustable sights.

Harrison Design & Consulting, LLC.. HD-002 T-2 Extreme Service rear sight
