Default Mystery 1911A1

I have this Colt 1911A1, possibly late 30's manufacture. Blued finished.
It has no US Military Property marking and there is no C prefix before serial number. Right side of slide "COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE 45"

Left side of slide "PATENTED APR 20, 1897. SEPT9, 1902. DEC 19, 1905.
FEB 14, 1911. AUG 19, 1913 COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO HARTFORD.CT.U.S.A."
Colt rearing stalion logo at rear of slide.

I have been told this was possibly manufactured for export so no C prefix in serial number.

Barrel marked HS (High standard mfg?)

Anyone have a clue as to what I have?

It looks like a 1911 that had the frame cut to an A1 profile, and other A1 features added, as well.
