I've handle and fired one of Sig's 1911s before, and I know you'll be pleased with your purchase.

Nice piece.

How do you like the contrasting color of the flat topped slide?

Sig decided to reverse the logic of a darkened sight tunnel. Let us know how this works.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

I think the slide was a nice touch. I was only able to shoot about 50 rounds through her before it got too dark but, honestly I think its easier to get a sight picture with the contrast of the slide. Might sound silly to some but not to me. Range report.....phenomenal ! Love it. I'd send pics but I was shooting old spray paint cans from 15 yds not very interesting of a range report w/o targets but got a good feel for it

Very nice purchase!!! I have 2 Sig 1911's and they are fantastic pistols. I rate them up there with my Kimbers and Colts.
