Well it's a beautiful Sunday morning in feeling 100 times better now and here my agenda: breakfast with the wife and kid then church then to the range I'm shooting the snot outta it! Range report tonight!

My next buy will probably be a colt not sure yet but in 6 months or so we will see

Ok so I shot 200 rounds and my front sight fell off?? Bad thing? Lol other than that it shot like a dream

Most likely improperly staked.

You could employ home gunsmith remedies or send your slide to SA for warranty service.

I've read that their customer service for warranty repairs is excellent.

I've heard this is actually almost common with SA, it won't deter me though. SA or Colt, I'll be getting one if them next month!

well i dont wanna have to spend money on it yet like i said its brand new only 200 rounds shot its whole life. i dont know what to do im a little sad

Don't let it get you down. Like I said I've heard this is becoming more common with SA, and I still might get one. Just call them up and let them know what happened, and follow their instructions on sending it in. don't worry about it too much.

Take a piece of oil jug place it between the sight and one side of the dove tail tap it in to where you want it then use a razor blade to trim off the excess plastic. Its not a permanent fix but it works
