Picked up my first 1911 today. A Colt Commander.

IMHO, the Colt Commander (and it's ilk) is the best of both worlds. Concealed Carry and Accuracy. And with little compromise to either.

It's one of the holes in my 1911 collection that I need to fill.

Enjoy the new addition to your arsenal, shoot the snot out of it and may it serve you well.

We like to see a range report and always more eye candy!

Yes I fell in love with it when I saw it in the case. I was looking for a Government model but then saw this one and it was the only Colt they had. In and out in 30 mins! Going to shoot Sunday so I'll post some pics and a range report then! Thanks guys!
