Default My First 1911...

This past weekend I made a purchase on a Kimber Custom II 1911.Just wanted something that would open me to the platform, allow me to get used to it, and something that I wouldn't be upset if I got a scratch on it. I haven't had a chance to make it to the range, so all I have done is field strip it and reassemble it 2 or 3 times a day. At first it was slow, compared to my other pistols, but I'm improving.

And of course I have pics.

Congratulations. That's an excellent choice for a first 1911.

Now go shoot the dang thing.

A most excellent addition. Congratulations! When can we expect some targets from your Range Report?

I'm on 3rd shift right now and don't really feel much like doing anything. Although today I have seemed to gather enough energy to stay up for a while. Damn I hate rotating shifts.

The first one is always special.

When you shoot it for the first time you'll be amazed at your shooting prowess and wonder how you did without one for so long...

A great addition! You'll be hooked shortly and wanting another one.

This is an absolute truth.

I still have the first 1911 I bought. Even got it one of those cool wood Springfield boxes to show it off.

Congrats on your new 1911. Treat it well and it will always do the same.
