Default Woot Woot

After a good lesson in patients (which I sorely need) it has finally arrived. (The local shop owner neglected to tell me he would be closed M-W this week when I had the pistol shipped there. The USPS has been trying to deliver it since Monday. I'm over it. Sort of.

I can rest at ease. It is immaculate. I would guess a few hundred rounds and It appears to have been well cared for. I called NHC as JD recommended and they extended the 6 for $99 magazine deal to me to "even out" (lol) my order for a couple 18lb recoil springs.

Sorry to torture you with more pics but I can't help it. I'm like a new dad, AND I can't (well,.. maybe don't want to is a better term) shoot it until the 33* and raining subsides... Besides, don't these things just shoot themselves?

Ha ha hah! Nice. I upgraded my springs in all of mine as well. Good choice on that. I figured they would give you the same deal on mags. They are really good people there and their 'smiths are all lifetime 1911 builders. They have something like 180 years of experience between the founding 11 members of Nighthawk Customs. It's a crazy amount of knowledge...

I bet the wait was killing you - do you still have fingernails left? LOL

Looking forward to that range report...

JD

Great looking 1911!

You have pushed me over the top! I will own a NH!

My next purchase is a BHP but the second purchase will be a NH!

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Ohhhh, I can talk about them all day, but this guy gets one, posts a few pictures, without even a range report, and suddenly you have a Nighthawk Alter in your Den.

Oh, and I see how you are JD. It's all "welcome to the Nighthawk family" until Cane shares the love. Then all of the sudden I'm "this guy".

Pffft.

Anybody want to see some pictures of my new 1911?

LMAO!!

Cane and I are having "creative differences" over a recent new build concerning the 1911 platform.

And as for YOU Mister Slawth - I have been the resident Nighthawk 1911 owner around these parts and then you come loping in like Rambo without a jockstrap with your "Look at my new NHC 1911 and what a great price I got", with your pictures and your glee, what's a poor Mod to do?

Seriously though, I am glad that you got yourself a top shelf 1911, from a great company, for a great price. I think it will serve you well and look forward to your range report...

JD
