[Hot Sauce NARC]

Picked it up yesterday. Paid 900 for the gun about 108 for the 3 wilson mags and about 50 for a blackhawk serpa with paddle and belt loop. the only thing that i can see that makes it used are some marks on the feed ramp (hopefully you can see them in the pictures) other than that it is perfect. cant find any ammo for it yet or i would already have a range report

That is friggin beautiful! It's like you got "baby bear" & now "papa bear". Berry cool. I wonder if you could use a dremel with a polishing head on the feed ramp? (need more knowledgable input)

I hear you on the ammo. That Natchezss place has some of the non-brass cased stuff, last i checked. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=CC3570& src=tpCtg I haven't tried that kind, but the brass Blazer stuff ran fine in my XD. Somebody else had mentioned some winchester "clean" ammo, but the PM disappeared.

That's a good looking pistol you got there NARC.

That chatter on the feed ramp is a little troubling, but I am betting you can smooth that right out. I would put several hundred rounds through it first and see if you have a FTF - I am betting it's the stock mag and it won't do it with the aftermarket ones, but you never know.

Other than that, for $900, I think you got a pretty sweet looking piece of kit there.

Looking forward to your range report - if ammo ever comes back to available again...

what do you guys think caused all the chips on the feed ramp, because it seems to me like they coated it at the factory with the kimpro finish instead of just leaving it bear like they should have and the brass is digging into it because the finish is softer than the steel underneath.

well i got bored and decided to see what i could do about the feed ramp, so i took a small piece of sandpaper and lightly sanded it, then i took a wire bore brush and went to town, i was right the inital chips were just chips in the kimpro finish not the steel. So after the polish i loaded up a mag and slowly racked the slide back and let it forward trying to make the hollow points hang up on the ramp, and to my suprise they all fed well see how it works when i shoot for real
