I'm thinking now to take it to ten rings (they are here in San antonio) to just take compensator off and a good clean.

Then maybe pick up a Wilson cqb (one for sale here for 2k- prob offer $1600-1700 see if I can get it). Then turn sights on Ed brown lol

I belive those are Herrett double diamond grips- had a couple sets myself-
As for as restoration IF you have it done let COLT only do it & keep the paperwork
Heres one from another fourm member that had Colt do his -

That comp just comes off like a regualar barrel bushing- no biggie at all

Theres no finish as pretty as a perfect deep dark blueing
