I think you did well. I've owned a few Kimbers, still have two, and I'm very happy with them. I don't think that was a bad price at all and, if you don't like it, you should be able to easily find someone who will give you what you paid for it.

How does it feel in your hand compared to your Glock? Let me guess......

Snuck out of work early to make it to the shop before they closed.
Came home and got a quick box through it before dark.
Going to take a while to transition from shooting the glock. However, slowfire was way more accurate than any time ever Ive shot my G21. Had one group going about the size of a quarter @ 10yds until I did an inadvertant double tap, only threw the shot out of the group by 1 1/2"
It has a flat or straight trigger, dont know if that was factory option or aftermarket.
Trigger had a slight amount of takeup then super smooth and crisp with no overtravel. Very nice coming from a glock trigger.
The point of aim/impact was dead on. I just need to get used to the sights sitting higher than my G.
Did a couple dbl tap/rapid fire mags, even with not being used to the sight setup my targets were comparable to the groups I shoot with my glock and I've been using it for years!
Try to borrow a decent camera and get a range report this weekend
Aftefr I get accustomed to the trigger, grip and sights Im sure it will be lights out better.

Came with 1 KimPro mag. Bought a Wilson Combat mag for a spare, hope they're good.
Need to get leather, going to do a search
Also I didnt get a manual, need to find a guide for field stripping and maintainence. Any Ideas were to look?
Thanks again---Ken

Not a lot of difference in stripping and cleaning from other 1911s, you can find a video on YouTube or elsewhere in this forum I would think. Just be especially careful reassembling when it comes to putting the slide stop back in. Be patient and don't force it...you can scar the pistol if you do it the wrong way. I learned that the hard way.

Very nice.

It looks like there is an awful lot of lube on the slide rails in those pics...
