Looking to trade up

I'm taking my kimber pro carry 2 to the gun show in Springdale AR saturday to see if I can trade for a full size (5") 1911.

Wish me luck.

Why? I think the 5" 1911's suit me better after shooting several of other people's. Funny thing is, none of them wanted to trade. :D

A guy did offer me his taurus 1911.straight across, yeah, I'll bet bud.

Good luck Goju.

If you don't make a deal, I know a guy who has a 5" Kimber for sale, but doubt there would be a trade available. :p

I'd trade you a custom Hi-Point and mint RG revolver for it.

Advertise that puppy on Arkansas Carry, the head guy has a nice Springer Loaded he may trade you...

Brian check out the Springfields, you will not be disappointed.

I'm a member there and will check that out. Thanks!

That hi-point does sound tempting though. :D

Will do. I figure with mine having night sights I could make an even trade or something very close. Thanks!

What's that guy want for the Springer loaded? For some reason new Springfield 1911 are hard to come by right now. Maybe they up the XD production.

Springfield SRVC 45SS Package $769.00 SHIPS FREE

This one is going for $769. I figure mine is worth at least $825.

What do you guys think?

One of the "benefits" of a Springer is that they do not use a firing pin block as Kimbers (and many others) do. While FPBs don't bother me really, a gun without them just has less parts to deal with...

I wouldn't mind at all to trade mine for a full size springer. Hopefully, that guy will show up. :)
